The National Weather Service in Amarillo is predicting gusty winds and potentially severe weather. Forecasters predict that the cold front will move further south, with temperatures expected to reach mid-80s in the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex and potentially set new records in the Texas Panhandle. The NWS in Dallas-falls is also predicting a chance of thunderstorms both Tuesday and Wednesday night, with highs expected to remain in the 80s.
