Man suffers life-threatening injuries in southeast Raleigh shooting outside apartments, police say

A man was shot outside the Walnut Trace Apartments in southeast Raleigh, North Carolina, causing life-threatening injuries. The victim was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment. Police are investigating whether the victim knew the shooter. There is no ongoing threat to the public, according to police.
