The Yew Dell Botanical Gardens, a botanical garden and education center outside of Louisville, was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2010 and named by Horticulture Magazine as one of the country's top destination gardens. The gardens also feature a castle, a fairy garden, and thousands of different types of plants.
