Robert Kiyosaki, the author of Rich Dad Poor Dad, has warned of a financial crisis that is unfolding in real time. He points to two key policy shifts from 1974, the petrodollar and the Employee Retirement Income Security Act, which he believes paved the way for the financial crisis. The national debt has surpassed $39 trillion and net interest payments are expected to exceed $1 trillion this fiscal year. Kiyasaki argues that the retirement of baby boomers is imminent due to inflation and volatile markets. He has urged Americans to accumulate gold, silver, and Bitcoin as hedges against an inevitable dollar collapse. Despite mixed reviews, Kiyassaki's book has sold over 32 million copies in 51 languages.
