Jake Reiner has written a remembrance of his parents, Rob and Michele Reiner, who were found fatally stabbed in their Los Angeles home on Dec. 14, 2025. This is Reiner's first public comment since his parents were found murdered. Their son and brother, Nick Reiner was arrested and charged with murdering his parents. Jake Reiner described how he learned about his parents' deaths and shared memories of them from his childhood. He also mentioned their love of musicals and baseball, and expressed his devastation at the simultaneous loss of both parents and charges against their brother.
