Actor Wyatt Russell has made a promise to jump into Lake Erie if the Buffalo Sabres make the playoffs, ending their 15-year NHL drought. The team made the playoffs and gained the Eastern Conference's No. 2 seed with 109 points. On the eve of the playoff opener, Russell joined his colleagues from his canned cocktail company, Lake Hour. His father and fellow actor, Kurt Russell, offered his congratulations.
