Health Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. had surgery on his rotator cuff on March 10 and plans to return to work next week. The operation was not disclosed which specific injury or condition prompted the operation. The Mayo Clinic warns that injuries to this type of muscle and tendon tend to increase with age. Most surgical repairs can be performed on an outpatient basis and do not require hospitalization.
