Overperforming storm brings more rain to Southern California than expected

A cold front swept through Southern California, delivering more rain than expected. Many areas received between a quarter inch and three quarters of an inch of rain, with some receiving a full inch. The National Weather Service reported the overperforming 24-hour rainfall totals. The cold system was already moving out of the region by Wednesday morning.
