The University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) is being sued by the Goldwater Institute for withholding information about Lisa "Tiny" Gray-Garcia, one of its resident political activists, who was brought on campus in 2024. The think tank, which requested documents through California's Public Records Act last October, claims that the university has consistently pushed back their release. The institute is seeking information about Gray-garcia's compensation, course syllabi, emails discussing topics like Israel and Gaza, and materials provided to "activists-in-residence" during their 2024 orientation. Gray-Graigher's activism revolves around "stolen land" and poverty, with some expressing support for Hamas.
