The Vegas Golden Knights defeated the Utah Mammoth in six games, securing a second-round date with the Anaheim Ducks. The Golden Knights outshot the Mammoth 10-6 in the first period and led 1-0 in the second period. Brett Howden scored his fourth goal in three games, marking a significant goal in the series. Coach John Tortorella stated that the team will play their game the same way they did in the previous game. However, he did not believe the incident of Wednesday's game had anything to do with this one.
