Newcastle news: How 'steady' Eddie Howe ended up in Belfast

Newcastle United head coach Eddie Howe and Chelsea boss Liam Rosenior both came through the coaching pathway at the Irish Football Association (IFA). The IFA's head of coaching education, Sean-Paul Murray, praised Howe for his calm demeanor and clear thinking. Howe had been recommended by his assistant Jason Tindall, who also spent time in Northern Ireland. Rosenior went on to complete his coaching badges with the IFA before receiving his Uefa Pro Licence in 2018.
