‘Children of Blood and Bone’ Trailer Debuts Epic African Fantasy at CinemaCon With Regina King, Chiwetel Ejiofor and More

Paramount debuted the first look at its upcoming fantasy film, "Children of Blood and Bone," at CinemaCon in Las Vegas. The film is based on Tomi Adeyemi's 2018 novel, set in a fictional African kingdom full of magic. Director Gina Prince-Bythewood directed the film, her first movie since 2022's "The Woman King." The film stars Thuso Mbedu as Zelie, a magic user who can command undead spirits. It is set to release in theaters and Imax on Jan. 15, 2027. The action-packed and VFX-heavy clip also revealed the cast's all-star cast, which includes Oscar winners Idris Elba and Cynthia Erivo.
