Las Vegas has seen a significant increase in visitor numbers in 2025 compared to the previous year, with a 7.5% drop in visitor figures attributed to economic uncertainty and a decline in international travelers, particularly from Canada. The Sphere, a massive new arena shaped like a globe, opened in late 2023 with a residency by U2 and has hosted acts such as Dead & Company, Phish, the Backstreet Boys and the Eagles. The new interactive art installation, Omega Mart, the John Wick Experience and Interstellar Arc, and the new Fontainebleau Hotel have also been added. Additionally, the city's new Major League Baseball team, the Oakland Athletics, is set to open in 2027.
