OpenAI has acquired streaming business talk show TBPN, a popular show that covers big business with a heavy emphasis on tech, and will continue to stream on YouTUbe, X, and other platforms. The acquisition is aimed at helping OpenAI communicate with the media, with OpenAI CEO Fidji Simo stating that TBPN will have editorial independence and continue to run their programming, choose their guests, and make their own editorial decisions. The show's founders and hosts, Jordi Hays and John Coogan, will assist OpenAI on communications and marketing and report to strategy executive Chris Lehane.
