Hong Kong-based conglomerate CK Hutchison's Panama unit has filed an arbitration against Maersk (MAERSKb.CO) over the takeover of two strategic ports near the Panama Canal. The Supreme Court of Panama annulled key port contracts held by the Hong Kong-owned firm, leaving the future uncertain. The arbitration will take place in London. The court ruling follows pressure from the Trump administration to curb Chinese influence over the Panama canal.
