Netflix's "Wedding Horror Series "Something Very Bad Is Going to Happen" premiered this week, marking the debut of their first non-Netflix production for the service. The series, created and showrun by Haley Z. Boston, covers the story of a wedding between psychology grad student Rachel (Camila Morrone) and Nicky (Adam DiMarco) at a rural wedding in an upstate wedding. However, the show takes too long to reveal itself and takes several episodes to reveal the true premise and themes of the show. Despite its success, the series does offer some interesting insights about the character and relationship of Rachel (Rachel), who lost her mother as an infant and is estranged from her dad, and is married to Nicky's ex-wife Victoria (Gus Birney). The series also shifts the focus to the relationship between Rachel and Nicki.
