Broadway saw a surge in the box office last week, with new shows including The Lost Boys, The Rocky Horror Show, Beaches, Fallen Angels and Titaníque opening. Despite this, Jonathan Groff's final week at Circle in the Square saw a significant increase in box office earnings, reaching a production-high of $2,066,446. Other notable shows included Giant starring John Lithgow and Every Brilliant Thing, which grossed $1,407,707. The top five earners for the week included Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, Hamilton, The Lion King, and Wicked. All 36 Broadway productions grossed a total of $38,657,410 for week ending March 29, a 5% increase from the previous week.
