Oswestry: The English town that belongs in Wales

Oswestry, a Welsh business named Siop Cwlwm, one of the few Welsh shops in England that promotes the language, culture, and heritage of Welsh people. The town is located on the border between England and Wales, which is only six miles from the actual border. The business is staffed by Cymraeg speaking locals and promotes Welsh culture, culture and heritage. Despite this, Oswestry has a history of being burned to the ground in 1216 by England's King John as punishment for supporting the Welsh. The remains of Sycharth Castle on the Welsh side of the border are also visible.
