The most recent EF-4 tornado in Indiana was in Henryville on March 2, 2012, which was 14 years ago. The tornado ravaged communities across the 49-mile track, including Henryville High School and Maryville, IN. It was a "violent" top 2% storm with estimated winds of 166-200 mph on the Enhanced Fujita scale. No one person lost their life at the school, but 11 people were killed in the tornado. The EF-5 tornado eventually dissipated in Kentucky.
