General Manager Adam Peters has been open to a potential trade, stating that the No. 7 overall pick does not impact his decision to engage in a trade with an NFC East team. However, he remains hopeful that the Commanders will stay at No.7. The move could be influenced by the circumstances surrounding the team's selection. The Commanders currently have six draft selections and one in the next two rounds.
