Disney embarks on new chapter as Josh D'Amaro takes over as CEO

Josh D'Amaro has been appointed as CEO of Disney, taking over from Bob Iger. This comes after a period of uncertainty for the company, which includes a succession race and a recent reorganization, has left it with a mixed reception from Wall Street. D'Amara will succeed Iger at the company's annual shareholder meeting. His immediate task will be to maintain momentum in the core growth areas of the company.
