The Kansas weather outlook for the week includes widespread rainfall, with some parts of central Kansas receiving over an inch of rainfall. The potential for redevelopment of storms is possible along the dry line advancing into the state, but this could quickly become strong to severe. Fire Weather Warnings are in place for parts of the western half of the region, with temperatures expected to reach highs in the 70s and 80s, contributing to increased fire weather concerns. Tomorrow will feature a Marginal Risk of storms for Kay County, Oklahoma, and rain chances will largely remain south of the state line. Fire weather concerns will continue throughout the week, with fire weather warnings issued for Tuesday and Wednesday. After a break from rain on Thursday, chances for showers and storms are expected to close out the week with potential moisture expected Friday and Saturday.
