US President Donald Trump has rejected a peace proposal from Iran, stating that the latest proposal includes demands he cannot agree to. He also warned against ending the conflict too early, citing that tensions could reoccur in three more years. A new poll by the Washington Post-ABC News-Ipsos suggests that 61 percent of Americans believe President Trump's use of military force against Iran was a mistake. The US Department of State imposed new measures on entities linked to Iranian petroleum exports, including China-based Qingdao Haiye Oil Terminal, accusing it of importing millions of barrels of sanctioned crude and enabling billions in revenue for Tehran. The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) Navy plans to enforce "new rules" over waters near its coast to create a "source of security and prosperity" for the region.
