Beacon firefighters, ambulance crews and police responded to the scene of a 10-year-old girl whose finger was trapped in a section of the school's Olympic-size swimming pool. The rescue required extensive attention to the child's injuries and required extensive water removal. The City of Beacon Fire Department described it as an "extremist" to prevent further injury.
