Bayern Munich smash Bundesliga record with 5 games to spare
Published on April 11, 2026.
Bayern Munich has set a new Bundesliga record with their 102nd league goal of the season against St. Pauli, surpassing the 101 goals scored by Bayern in 1971-72. With five games left, Bayern may still catch the record set by Manchester City's Manchester City squad, or Cristiano Ronaldo's Real Madrid team which scored 121 goals in La Liga in 2011-12. The all-time record in Europe's top five leagues is 125 goals for Torino in 1947-48. This has been an incredible season for Bayern, with England's Harry Kane leading the way with 31 league goals.
