Jon Hamm, star of Mad Men and The Morning Show, has recalled an awkward audition moment where he was mistaken for John Hannah during his early career. Hamm was promoting the second season of his dark comedy, Your Friends & Neighbors, at a podcast hosted by Josh Horowitz. He described Hannah as a "wonderful actor" who "really looks nothing remotely like" him. Despite their first names being spelled differently, Hamm was told he had to be a member of the U.K. to be in the role. Hamm also shared his most memorable scene of his career with Tom Cruise on set of the 2022 film.
