West Ranch softball edges Canyon in a wild finish to Foothill League game

West Ranch softball defeated Canyon 13-12 in a thrilling Foothill League game. The team had led 8-4 after five innings, but Canyon took the lead with six runs in the sixth. West Ranch's plate discipline helped them level the game at 10-10. Senior Madison Meister scored the winning run with a bases-loaded walk and a sacrifice fly. The win comes ahead of the CIF-SS playoffs.
