The musical satire, "Ruthless! The Musical," by Joel Paley, is being played by 11-year-old Catharina Araujo and 12-year old Olivia Mulder in Lake Forest’s Citadel Theatre. The role of the murderous kid is shared by both Catharin Arauja and Olivia Muld. The play is directed by Christina Ramirez, the Managing Director of the Actors Training Center in Wilmette. Ramirez praised the young actors for their triple-threat performances. Catharinas, a fifth-grader from Glencoe, has been performing since she was six and Olivia, who has been in “Annie” at Music Theater Works, “Matilda” and “Into the Woods” both her roles have previously been successful.
