Grupo Aéreo Monterrey, a low-cost Mexican airline, has suspended all flights for two weeks due to "logistical problems". The Federal Civil Aviation Agency has stated that the airline will not be permitted to operate until it resolves these issues. The financial issues are believed to be related to months of nonpayment. Many travelers were stranded, including 200 in Cancun. The airline had a peak of 27 routes and a fleet of five Boeing 737 planes. The suspension comes as the price of jet fuel increases due to a constrained oil supply from America's war with Iran.
