The Boys creator, Eric Kripke, has defended his decision to cancel the spin-off show Gen V, stating that he did not cancel the show and was actively fighting to keep it. The decision was made based on the cost of the show, which was based on viewer numbers and production costs. Despite the show being cancelled, however, he remains hopeful about seeing the young Supes again. Kipke also revealed that he and his team are currently brainstorming new ideas for future episodes of The Boys, which will air weekly.
