Kenvue beats first-quarter estimates amid pending acquisition by Kimberly-Clark

Kenvue has reported a strong first-quarter performance, beating analysts' expectations of 32 cents per share and $3.91 billion, an increase of 4.5% from the previous year. The company's net sales at its skin health and beauty unit also rose by 8.4% to $1.06 billion, helped by strong global sales. The firm expects pre-tax restructuring expenses and other charges totalling about $250 million this year.
