A 7-year-old boy was hit by an SUV while riding a scooter on his way to school, causing significant injuries including head trauma. The child was transported to the Cedar City Hospital but later airlifted to Primary Children's Hospital in Salt Lake for additional treatment. His family stated that his injuries were "irrecoverable" and that his brain injuries affect all aspects of his body. They also announced plans to donate his organs to children in need.
