The U.K. stockpile and that of key allies, including Israel and Gulf nations, are reportedly dwindling faster than production can replace the weapons. This comes as other countries are considering joining the war. The Pentagon has made procuring more munitions a priority following the Iran strike, with 2025 reconciliation bill included roughly $25 billion for munitions purchases and production increases. The Iranian strikes have strained Western defenses, with reports that Iran fired about 400 missiles and over 800 drones in the first two days of strikes.
