Chef Debbie Lee has created a new-school take on Korean cuisine at Yi Cha in Highland Park, a fusion of her Northern Korean heritage, Southern upbringing, and decades in Los Angeles. The chef-owner shares her personal experiences with customers and devoted Korean couple who order the whole menu. The menu includes dishes such as korean fried chicken wings and a salad made from scratch. The drinks and Korean spirits are well-received. All dishes have a story behind them, including fried Asian sweet potato pie and chile peanut brittle.
