Chargers upgrade offensive line to help keep Justin Herbert upright

The Chargers have made significant improvements to their offensive line, which was a major issue last season due to quarterback Justin Herbert being sacked 54 times. The team added a new center and four new guards in free agency and the 2026 NFL Draft. The Chargers re-signed Lance as Herbert's backup, with Uiagalelei potentially becoming QB3 if necessary. Despite the sacks the Chargers have allowed over the past two seasons, Herbert has only missed one game. The rest of the Chargers' offensive line is solid, with Kolar and Gadsden solidifying as tight ends, but there are potential additions to the team.
