Nashville's May 5 primary will be decisive without Republicans on the ballot

Nashville's primary election is set for May 5, with no Republicans running in any of the races. The primary will decide on positions on the school board, judges, court and county clerks, and internal Democratic Party positions. Early voting has been low, with over 22,000 people voting. Other races include two competitive seats on the Metro school board.
