Jackson LaCombe, the top defenseman for the Anaheim Ducks, has been well-received for his performance in his playoff debut, leading the team to the 2nd round. He recently dominated his first Stanley Cup playoff series, scoring nine points and leading the Ducks' defensive efforts against Connor McDavid and Leon Draisaitl. After signing a $72 million contract extension with the Ducks last September, he scored 58 points and made the U.S. Olympic team’s roster. His performance has cemented everything Ducks fans already knew about him. His teammates believe it's long past time for him to be known beyond the West Coast.
