Bobby Hurley's contract with Arizona State has not been renewed after 11 seasons. The announcement came after the Sun Devils were knocked out of the Big 12 tournament by Iowa State. Despite leading the team to three NCAA Tournament appearances during his tenure, ASU has struggled over the past three seasons. Despite this, Hurley led the team with a 185-167 record overall. He leaves the role as the second-winningest coach in ASU men's basketball history behind just Ned Wulk.
