The brief, submitted by Lake in February, had numerous errors and was found to contain references to cases, fictitious cases, and misquotes from statutes. Lake denied using AI and the court dismissed the divorce appeal last month, stating his claim that he filed the wrong draft lacks credibility. The final ruling will be made by the Nebraska Supreme Court.
