Lingering rain, a few thunderstorms and possible Sierra snow is expected for parts of Northern California early Wednesday morning, but it is predicted that the afternoon will be dry. Snow showers are expected to remain above 5,000 feet, but road conditions will improve for the afternoon. Another weather system could bring more clouds for the Valley and Foothills while bringing light snow to the Sierra.
