Clermont County hit-and-run that killed 19-year-old officially ruled homicide

A multi-agency investigation is underway after 19-year-old Jayden Nelson was found dead on a roadway in New Richmond, Ohio. The Clermont County Sheriff’s Office, the Ohio State Highway Patrol, and the Clermount County Prosecutor's Office launched a joint effort to investigate the circumstances surrounding Nelson's death. The death was officially ruled a homicide by the Hamilton County Coroner's Office. Additionally, Joshua LaVoy has been charged with tampering with evidence.
