'Supergirl' goes full John Wick to save her dog Krypto in new trailer

DC Studios has released a full trailer for its summer superhero flick, "Supergirl," adapted from Tom King and Bilquis Evely's 2022 DC comic book series "Supreme". The movie follows Supergirl (Milly Alcock) and her alien girlfriend, Ruth Marie Knoll, as they seek out Krem of the Yellow Hills (Matthias Schoenaerts) for an antidote to her dog Krypto. The trailer shifts from the party-animal nature of Supergirl to a more serious and serious portrayal of the character. The film, directed by Craig Gillespie, will be released on June 26, 2026.
