The Portland Fire played host to Angel Reese and the Atlanta Dream in an 86-66 loss, two days after turning the ball over 19 times in a win over the Connecticut Sun. The Fire was without Bridget Carleton due to lower back soreness, leading the team in minutes per game and scoring (15.3), and her 17 total steals lead the entire WNBA. In addition, rookie Holly Winterburn started the game with 6 points and 7 assists. The Dream took a quick lead, but the Fire struggled to maintain consistency on offense. The game was won by 31 points off turnovers.
