A Golden Corral customer, 59-year-old Gary Sellinger, was allegedly attacked by staff members after he was accused of not paying for his meal at a Henderson, Nevada, location in 2025. The complaint alleges that Sellinger and a friend had paid in cash and also covered a third friend's dinner so he could join them at the table without waiting. The manager allegedly confronted them and accused them of not having paid for their meal and asked them to leave. Sellinger allegedly tried to explain he had a receipt to prove his claim but was allegedly grabbed by the neck and slammed into a table by another employee. The lawsuit seeks damages in excess of $15,000 and is seeking attorney fees and lawsuit costs.
