4 Cool iOS 26.5 Features Coming To Your iPhone This Spring

Apple's mobile operating system, iOS 26.5, is expected to be released in mid-May. The last major update for the iPhone has already included several cool features, including an end-to-end encrypted support for the RCS standard, Suggested Places, and an ability to use some formerly limited features with third-party devices. However, Siri does not appear to be on the books for iOS 26, or 26. 5, and the redesign of Apple's chatbot is expected for iOS 27. These features can be tested by joining the iOS 26-5 beta. If your mobile carrier does not support RCS Universal Profile 3.0, then you'll have to wait. Suggested Place will provide local recommendations based on what users are showing interest in, but this could leave some frustrated as these results can be paid ad spots. The company has been criticized for not putting any ads in its operating systems.
