The majority of Americans plan to take at least one domestic vacation this summer, but 67% have seasonal travel planned, according to a survey by U.S. News. The survey also revealed that close to 65% of summer vacationers had changed their plans due to the high cost of travel. The study also found that 89% of vacationers planned to take action to save money on their summer trips. Disney-owned hotels can cost anywhere from $200 to $900/night for a family of four, and single-day park admissions start at $119. In response to criticism, Walt Disney World has announced several ways to save this summer. The 4-Day, 4-Park Magic Ticket will offer access to all four theme parks starting at $109 per day plus tax. Free water park access on check-in day for guests staying at a Disney Resorts Collection hotel can also be provided.
