The 2026 NFL Draft is set to take place, with the Patriots still facing several significant needs. Former Patriots players, Devin McCourty and Jason McCourry, suggest that the team needs a dynamic pass rusher who can "dictate defense". Despite recent additions to the team, including Dre'Mont Jones and K'Lavon Chaisson, they also lost some of their pass-rushing talent this summer. Eliot Wolf, McCourried, acknowledged that adding an edge rusher is one of the top priorities for New England.
