States, DirecTV sue to block Nexstar-Tegna deal joining NBC 4 and 10TV

The $3.54 billion merger between television station owner, Nexstar Media Group, has resulted in federal lawsuits from several states and a leading TV provider. The Federal Commission approved the sale of the television station to Nexstar on March 19 and announced it had closed after receiving approval from both the government and the Department of Public Affairs.
