Medina County sells downtown parking lot for $51,000

Medina County commissioners have approved the sale of a small downtown parking lot for $51,000, a price significantly below its appraised value. The 26-space lot is located just south of Medina’s Public Square behind several downtown businesses. The highest bidder was Rose Company, which had submitted the highest bid of $77,000. While Commissioner Steve Hambley expressed a preference for a higher sale price, he agreed to use the money for other county purposes.
