Hall of Famer Jimbo Covert is participating in a 4,000-mile bicycle ride across the US to raise money for ALS research. His friend and teammate Steve 'Mongo' McMichael was diagnosed with ALS and died last year. Covert believes concussions are linked to neurological diseases like ALS and Parkinson's. The 4,200-mile bike ride aims to raise funds for research on Lou Gehrig's disease. The event was held in Pittsburgh ahead of Covert's announcement of his selection in the NFL Draft.
